I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from the Philippines having worked in the Government Financing Department. When my family moved to Thailand, I was given the opportunity to teach Primary and High School students at a number of different international schools in Bangkok.
I continued my teaching career in a private, tri-lingual school, as a Kindergarten English teacher for more than 13 years. During this time, I studied and completed my second degree in Secondary Education majoring in English.
I was exposed to different cultures and students from many different ethnic backgrounds and of various ages and abilities, all which further increased my enthusiasm and passion for teaching.
I decided to work in St Andrews International School Bangkok so I could share my knowledge and experience, especially to students with special needs. I feel fortunate to be a part of the St Andrews community which is considered one of the most prestigious educational institutions globally.
It's a privilege and honour to work with supportive staff and parents as well as great students who value education. Working here enhances a great opportunity to learn, develop and continually improve my teaching practice professionally.
