Congratulations to our very own Becky Baily, who recently was recognized by Nord Anglia Education for her professional development and key role as English advocate at the British International School of Charlotte.
Mrs. Bailey, a Year 6 Teacher, leveraged the online webinars and resources available through Nord Anglia University, too further advance BISC's KS3 English curriculum, forging strong International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) ties where possible and championing the benefits of High Performance Learning.
Mrs. Bailey also led a group of colleagues in a study resulting in raising the standards of English across the entire school. Through the group effort, the school launched a successful World Book Day, achieved success in the Global Classroom short story completion, improved the school library and paved the way for future teacher training through teacher-led master classes.
BISC, together with Nord Anglia Education, encourages and provides a wealth of resources to inspire our staff and administrators to continue to embrace life long learning.
