The month of March is dedicated by the National Art Education Association as “Youth Art Month”, in celebration of the visual arts created and produced by young artists in the United States. To honor the tradition of excellence of art education in the independent schools of the Charlotte region, this year’s 11th Annual Independent School Youth Art Month Exhibit for K- 5th grade students kicked off last night at the Mint Museum.

A number of our students, along with our Art teacher, Mrs Mclean, were celebrated last night.

Alesha Dahya - Year 1

Anjana (Athithi) Sundararajan - Year 2

Carlotta Scinto - Year 3

Liam Patel - Year 4

Ruchindnya Vetal - Year 5

Simon Zhao - Year 6

Their art work will be on exhibit for the next ten days at the Mint Museum on Tryon St. until March 27th. Don't miss it.

Congratulations to them all!
