Upper School Teacher

I’m very excited to join BIS Charlotte this year. I’ve been teaching at British International Schools within the Nord Anglia group for the past six years, spending half that time in Washington DC and the other half in Vietnam. I’ve enjoyed the warmth and ethos of every BISchool I’ve worked at, so I’m really looking forward to joining the BISC community and meeting you all.

I completed my teacher training and MA in London and taught in a boys’ grammar school for four years before deciding to embark on an adventure and teach internationally. My own interests beyond education include travelling as much as I can, outdoor pursuits, trying new food (I am so excited for Carolina BBQ), live music and culture. I am a huge MLB and NFL fan. After the Washington Nationals made it to the World Series, I flew back from Vietnam for five days just to go to a game! North Carolina is a beautiful state, and I cannot wait to experience everything it has to offer.
