Mandy de Graaf

Teaching Assistant, 18-month class

Growing up on a farm in South Africa, I developed a deep appreciation and love for nature. Being intrinsically nurturing, I gravitated very naturally towards teaching. I am passionately committed to the well-being and positive development of each child I have ever had the privilege of teaching. I taught High School and Primary School levels in South Africa before our twin daughters were born. During their early formative years, we moved to the United States with the international firm for which my husband works. Prior to joining The British School, we lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I thoroughly enjoyed teaching Early Childhood Education at Cincinnati Country Day School.  Our delightful twins are now happily pursuing their studies at University. As a close family unit, we are committed to conservation, non-profit projects and Christian service in our community. Activities we enjoy are hiking, golf and spending time with our beloved horses.
