Before I was born, my parents immigrated to the USA from St. Petersburg, Russia. I come from a big family of eight children, and I was the second youngest one. Growing up after being born in Washington, most time was spent exploring the outdoors. Living in a beautiful green state, my family was always on an outdoor adventure. We would go mushroom picking, fishing, hiking, camping at the hot springs, snow tubing, and we loved visiting beaches. During my last two years of elementary school, we moved to NC because of my father’s employment. Family is a huge part of my life. I have seven nieces and seven nephews. Starting at a young age, I would help my older siblings out with babysitting their children. This grew my love for nourishing and spending time with children. As I got older, I would volunteer at my church and assist with childcare services. I now live in Charlotte with my boyfriend, our dog, and our cat. We enjoy traveling and exploring new places and experiences, leading to my excitement to be part of the family at the British International School of Charlotte mentoring children.
