Staff Florence McNeal

French Teacher

Prior to joining The British International School of Charlotte, I taught for 9 years in preparatory schools in Baltimore, Maryland: The Park School of Baltimore and St. Paul School for Girls, mostly for the advanced placement classes. I took the opportunity to teach at BISC for the mix of international students.

I was born and raised in France. I am married and I have 3 daughters who were all born in Paris. During my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, travelling and walking with the dogs- who are completely bi-lingual as well!

The British International School is a unique place to teach because my students are international, and so they come from very diverse backgrounds. During my time here, I have learned how to teach the British curriculum, which is different from the past curriculum that I have taught.
