This weekend saw the BSN Foxes Swim Squad compete in their first swim meet of the new year, the Nanjing Invitational Shanghai Swim League meet at Nanjing International School.
Twenty of our BSN Foxes swim squad students travelled across the city to compete against over 500 students, from eleven other international schools. Ranging from schools from Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou.
Over both Saturday and Sunday our students competed in a full range of events achieving innumerable personal bests. Our young Foxes have been training hard in the pool over these last few months and it is a pleasure to see their development, progress and hard work paying off.
Most pleasing of all though was to see the togetherness, unity and team spirit of the squad. For many this was their first experience of a competitive swim meet and they did not let the occasion get to them. We look forward to the upcoming Championships meet next month.
