Be Academically Ambitious

Zayn Aziz

Zayn won Academically Ambitious award because he has worked incredibly hard to produce excellent writing. He memorized a complete set of instructions for how to make a woodland crown and then wrote it all down, step by step in his best handwriting! He even remembered to use features of instructions including “bossy” verbs and bullet and number points. Zayn’s reading and comprehension skills have gone from strength to strength, and he has jumped up two levels! Well done, Zayn!

Tony Meng

Tony has been academically outstanding in all parts of the curriculum, be it engaging and creative writing or thinking critically and logically in maths. Tony has continued to push himself forward throughout the year to excellent effect. Well done.

Personally Ambitious

Eleanor Chen

Eleanor has received the Be Ambitious award for her personal achievements this month. She recently took part in BSN idol where she confidently performed a song in Tagalog language in front of the rest of Primary and some parents too!  As well as this, she had a leading role in our class assembly and she has a main part in our up-coming Cinderella production which she has been dedicated to practising for, she has displayed her fantastic acting and singing skills throughout.

Miffy Xu

Miffy always strives be a wonderful role model for her peers.  She has provided a valuable contribution to the school through her work as a volunteer Junior Librarian and has earned a Gold Librarian award for her considerable efforts.  In addition to this, Miffy has served the wider school community as an active member of the Nanjing Scouts group, recently engaging whole-heartedly in a project to raise money for charity.  In all community activities that Miffy has engaged in, she has consistently gone the extra mile in order to help and support others and her dedication and commitment set a fantastic example for other students.

Socially Ambitious

George Jones

George is a kind-hearted boy who always puts others first. He is quick to comfort friends and is always ready to give a helping hand. George's level of empathy and kindness towards his peers has repeatedly been commented on by students in his class. Not only is George a good friend to students in his class, his kindness also extends to students in other year groups. For this reason, he has been awarded the Socially Ambitious Award!

Justin Sul

Justin is a friendly and outgoing member of the class who works really well with others. He is an active participant in group tasks, but also remembers to listen and respect other students' ideas, making compromises when necessary.  Justin has also recently helped a new student settle into school life happily.
