I grew up in Northern Ontario, Canada but I have travelled and lived throughout my native land. In my early career I was Securities licensed but, after returning to university, I fell in love with education. I worked in the post-secondary system as an Instructor, Administrator, and Event Planner. In 2014, after raising three sons, I decided to fulfill my lifelong dream of teaching and travelling in Asia.
With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a passion for learning, I have enjoyed teaching Early Years in China for over four years. While In Canada, I received my Grade VIII from the Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music in piano. As an award-winning public speaker in both elementary school and university, I bring my enthusiasm for performance and music to the classroom every day.
In my personal time, I enjoy everything from quiet pursuits to extreme sports. I love being in nature whether scuba diving or snorkelling on a reef or sitting by a fire lakeside. As a Canadian, I must also say that I love watching hockey with a Tim Horton’s coffee.
