BA Modern Languages,
TEFL Cambridge Level 5

I grew up in Solihull, in the West Midlands, but I have also lived in Liverpool, Seville and Shanghai before moving to Nanjing in 2021.

My early career was in Sales and Marketing, which taught me many valuable skills and blessed me with some life-long friends, but since work experience at Alderbrook School in UK, whilst taking my degree, I have had an interest in education and in 2018, I decided that was my true calling. I have been teaching in, and leading Early Years departments since then.

I hold a Bachelors Degree in Modern Languages (German and Spanish) from The University of Birmingham, after developing a passion for language learning during my earlier school years. My love of all things linguistic and my understanding of language acquisition have translated well into the classroom environment during the four years that I have been teaching Early Years in China.

I love being outdoors and I enjoy walking and training my energetic dog in my spare time. I am a keen home cook and I enjoy creating and trialling my own recipes. I also love football, although being a Birmingham City fan can be quite the rollercoaster at times.
