I am from Hampshire in England and hold a degree in English from the University of Exeter. I was lucky enough to study abroad in the USA, planting the international bug in me, and after graduating worked as an LSA in a special needs school in the UK. I then travelled to China for the first time, teaching at a middle school in Changsha, then at a University here in Nanjing. I returned to the UK for a few years, working in admissions at King's College London then formally training to teach, paving the path for me to come back to China and join BSN.
My hobbies include reading, cycling, going to the gym, salsa dancing, walking, and exploring new places. I'm open-minded and am always up for going somewhere different and trying out new experiences.
My classroom is open, engaging, collaborative and comfortable - I want students to feel empowered, get involved and try things out without being worried about making mistakes. I firmly believe this is the way we grow as people.
