Our Book Day kicked off with Jackanory  (told by our teachers) and our guest speaker, Mr. Nury Vittachi telling the children about his love of reading.  As an author of over 30 books, he spoke to our pupils in a number of workshops throughout the day inspiring them to read and write more!  In addition, we invited some parents to come in to run 'pop up' reading sessions for the children.

Coupled with the Book Day, the official opening of our library took place in the afternoon. Principal Mr. Cooklin and Mr. Vittachi cut the ribbon unveiling our beautiful library - where our children will spend many enjoyable hours in the years to come!
