Learning Support Assistant, Early Years

I have a BSc Pharmacology from Kings College, London. I spent my early career in sales and marketing but have most recently volunteered at BISH 2 days a week in year 3. I have loved the experience of watching the children grow and develop, and feel passionate about the way BISH approaches teaching and learning to help the children thrive. Previoulsy, I also volunteered at a local elementary school, involved in the reading program, 1:1 with a second grade child, and class reading in Kindergarten and Eureka science.

I have 3 children, who keep me very busy, as well as a dog which I love to walk. I have recently started running and completed a few 5K runs and hope to move on the greater distances.

This School is different to all others I have worked at because…

I am very excited about joining the BISH team. The school has a very unique approach to learning which is centred around the child as an individual. I value the way in which children get to explore, enquire and manage their own learning. It’s good to be at a school which focuses on the future of learning and what that means for the children.
