Head of Year 2 and Year Class Teacher
It had always been a dream of mine to teach internationally and live on a tropical island. This dream came true in 2016 when I was offered the wonderful opportunity to work at an international school on a small island in the Seychelles. For the past two years I have been the head of KS1, SENCo and a Year 2 teacher.

Year 2 Class Teacher
I always knew I wanted to be a teacher from a young age, it runs in the family with many close family members also in the profession. After leaving school, I went to the University of Glasgow to study English Literature. Upon completion of my degree, I went on to gain a Post Graduate Diploma in Primary Education and have since taught various year groups across a range of diverse and challenging schools in Glasgow.
Learning Support Assistant
I qualified from the University of Manchester in 1996 with a BSc in Speech Pathology and Therapy. I then worked as a paediatric speech therapist in the Northwest of England in schools and community clinics before moving to New Zealand where I worked for a year. On my return I worked for the NHS in Southampton in a preschool language unit. My husbands job has given us the opportunity to live in several countries, including Belgium, Scotland and the US twice.
