Year 3 Class Teacher
I completed my teaching degree at the University of Warwick. Over the course of my career, I have had experience of teaching all year groups in both Key Stage 1 and 2, including Reception and have had the pleasure of teaching at a large infant school and a small village church school, in Reading and Lincoln. During this time, I have taken on the roles of Subject Coordinator for Humanities and Modern Foreign Languages as well as Special Needs Coordinator and leading the School Council.
Following our move to Houston for my husband’s job, an opportunity to join the British International school of Houston team presented itself. This is my sixth year teaching at our school. During this time I have enjoyed teaching Years 1 & 2, as well as the role of Leader of Learing of Key Stage 1 for three years. I am currently Assessment and Learning Datat Manager for Primary.
From an early age, I knew that I wanted to teach and provide children with a memorable, high-quality learning experience.
Learning Support Assistant
I started working as a Pupil Support Assistant in Aberdeen Scotland, 2006-2013. Gained my Classroom Assistant SQV in 2007.
