I qualified with a Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education in 2015, teaching in England for 2 years, before then moving to Switzerland, as part of my first international teaching post with Nord Anglia Education. During this time, I trained as Maths coordinator for the primary school and developed the curriculum to be in line with a Mastery approach. I also took part in several conferences linked to MIT and the STEAM collaboration, in Prague, Warsaw and Boston, as well as leading our own projects across the school. Last year, I had the opportunity to teach Mathematics, including the IGCSE curriculum, in the Secondary School. I am very happy to have joined the BISH community this year and am looking forward to developing and growing with the school and wider community in the future.
Outside of school, I am a keen motorcycle enthusiast. I have toured most of Europe on my motorbike and with my dad over the past 5 years, and am now very much looking forward to exploring Texas, and the wider United States, on 2 wheels. I also play several instruments, predominantly the guitar, and enjoy playing live crowds where I can. I have always been involved with the school productions as part of the live band and am looking forward to continue to support the performing arts department at BISH.
