I started teaching over fifteen years ago in London, England and I joined BISH from the International School of Bremen in Germany. During my career, my roles have included Head of House, Reading Programme Co-ordinator, PTA Secretary and I had a leadership role throughout the NEASC accreditation process here at BISH. I have developed a passionate interest in the use of metacognitive approaches to help students achieve a sense of security and confidence in themselves and their learning. The decision to come to BISH was an easy one. It was very clear that my approach to learning fit perfectly with the ambitions and core values of this amazing school.
I came to Houston over five years ago with my wife Marlo, my daughter Kera and our Greek dog Twinkle. Theater is still a big passion of mine and I am also a self-confessed film nerd. Most weekends, I enjoy watching football (both kinds!) and I try my best not to scare Twinkle with my cheering. I try to stay fit and enjoy swimming, running and playing football whenever I can. I enjoy travelling to new places and I am slowly ticking off the states on our various road trips.
