Head of IB Years & Teacher of Visual Art and Design Thinking

Hailing from Southend-on-Sea in Essex, England, I have been teaching for 15 years across the UK, the Middle East and here in Texas.  As my hobbies suggest, I am a teacher of Visual Art and Design thinking.  I love art and art history and relish being able to work in our Maker's Space.  I particularly love working with young adults and as Head of the IB Years I am lucky to be able to help support and direct our post-16 students as they make their way to university and beyond.

I am never happier than when I am given the opportunity to be arty, whether it be with paint, musical instruments or lego.  I have two young boys, aged 2 and 5, and my wife, Sian also works at the school as a drama teacher.  We have a very creative and noisy household!  We love adventures in the wilderness, making a mess, reading and lots of board games.
