IBCP Coordinator

I have a BA (hons) in Advertising and Brand Management (first class) and joined the International school in 2014. I am the BTEC Level 3 ICT co-ordinator and teacher of IB Business and Management, iGCSE Economics and GCSE Computer Science. I am involved in both the IBCP and IBDP programme, where I am a supervisor to the Reflective Project and Extended Essay respectively. Prior to entering the teaching profession, I worked in London in advertising and branding. I was also a free-lance web designer and was owner of a small music business.

I have had success musically, playing across the UK and Europe at festivals and international conventions where I was sponsored and had recording and distribution contracts. I am also highly experienced in sound engineering, both in the studio and live.  I am a very keen mechanic, have built 2 custom motorcycles and restored another 2 classics. I have set up an auto club at the International school where students can learn the basics of car repair and fault finding. Having left the advertising industry, along with my music and mechanical experience, I am able to bring real life experiences of working in the business environment, directly into the classroom.
