I graduated with a degree in Computer Science in 2003 after spending a year working at Intel in the UK. I went on to achieve qualified teacher status the following year. Since then, I have taught in a range of UK and international schools, in the North of England, outer London, Eritrea, the UAE, Costa Rica and most recently, Malaysia.
I like to unwind, often in creative ways such as cooking, baking and gardening. I also enjoy programming and electronics. I follow several sports, especially football; having married a Liverpudlian, I am an honorary ‘Red’. I also enjoy hiking and wildlife spotting, and am really looking forward to exploring some of Texas’ famed national parks.
This school is different to all others I have worked at because...
I am perhaps most looking forward to joining the BISH community because it nurtures a spirit of exploration, excitement and engagement in learning. I am curious to meet the students to see how far they can push Computer Science.
