I graduated from the University of Bath with a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics. I began my teaching career in 2010 at a comprehensive school in the South-East of England. I have enjoyed teaching Mathematics to students of all age groups and abilities, up to and including A-Level. I have held many responsibilities within my department including monitoring the performance of students and acting to improve the delivery of the curriculum. I have also been involved in the pastoral life of the school as an Assistant Head of Year.
I came to the British International School of Houston in order to face new challenges in an exciting and forward-thinking environment. I am looking forward to becoming fully integrated into a new school community and involving myself in the extra-curricular activities that are on offer.
I am a keen footballer, having played for my university side and teams in my local area. I’ve enjoyed spending time touring many parts of Europe by bicycle, including a cycle from London to Rome. I am looking forward to being part of a new culture and experiencing what Texas and the rest of the USA has to offer.
