Laurence Crossan

Teacher of Business

I gained a BA in Business Management from Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Ireland, before moving to London where I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a Master’s in Education from St Mary’s University College Twickenham.

I have been in London for over ten years and spent all of that time working in education. I have comprehensive experience in various roles such as Head of Business Studies, Head of Year (Sixth Form) and Head of Vocational Education.

I specialize in teaching Post 16 students and am currently working with classes studying IB Business Management and BTEC Business.

I am looking forward to joining the British International School of Houston and exploring the new opportunities and challenges that working in such a diverse school will bring and hopefully reignite my passion for travel and exploring new areas.

In my free time I enjoy reading, attending the theatre and the cinema. Recently, I have taken up running and have successfully completed a few charity half marathons. I hope to build on this in Houston – if I can survive the weather!

I love to travel and hope to spend some of my spare time travelling and seeing what various US State.
