Following this I moved to Melbourne, Australia taking a job in Neurology research where I worked as part of an Epilepsy research team at St Vincent's Hospital. After five years in Australia I returned to Scotland to obtain my PGDE at Dundee University in Chemistry and Science teaching. I worked for a year in Scotland before accepting my first international teaching job in vibrant Mexico City, where I have been for the last 3 years.
Outside of teaching I enjoy running and swimming regularly, running the Chicago Marathon in 2016, I am also looking forward to getting more involved in Triathlons when I move to Houston. I also really enjoy travelling and experiencing new places, Vietnam still being one of the top places I have visited.
