I began my professional life in Corporate Training and moved into teaching around twenty years ago as an English Language and Literature teacher. In the UK I joined the Fast Track Teaching Scheme, working in challenging schools to raise standards. Since moving into International Education in 2010, I have worked as an Academic Advisor, Deputy Head and Head of School in both Singapore and Phnom Penh. My passions as an educator are the development of personal learning and different pathways through to graduation. I am very excited at the rich opportunities that BISH offers to develop my work in these areas.
I am married to Rachel, who teaches English at BISH, and we have two boys, Alfie (12 years old) and Charlie (8 years old) who are also BISH Bulldogs! Before coming to Houston we lived in South East Asia for 11 years, the last two years in Cambodia and before that in Singapore. Outside school I love traveling, fishing and cooking.
