Ana Gonzalez Lalin

Spanish Teacher

I have been teaching for more than 20 years, I enjoy the interrelation that I establish with the children, especially the younger ones, where with their spontaneity and creativity and my educational experience the results are wonderful and it is at that moment that I say I LOVE TEACHING . I love doing Zumba, it gives me vitality and relaxes me, I want to continue learning on the path of education to be able to give my best in the teaching process and my greatest achievement is seeing my son happy and graduating, doing something that he loves. Passionate and like it so that working is not an obligation but a pleasure, since that's how I feel.

I have worked for more than 20 years, in my country of origin Venezuela I worked as a preschool teacher, assistant to the coordination of preschool and counselor, but what I enjoy the most is working directly with children and their interaction. I got my degree in preschool . Seven years ago I moved to the United States where I had the opportunity to exercise my profession as a Spanish teacher, but taking on the challenge of learning English and continuing to improve it, which I continue to do day after day. When I saw the opportunity to be a Spanish teacher at the British International School of Houston, I did not hesitate to apply because I felt that it could be an environment very similar to that of my country of origin and during the interviews with my superiors that feeling was It strengthened me and the truth is that in these three years I have felt very lucky to belong to this team, where I am getting richer and richer, hand in hand with a great team.
