My name is Cathy but I prefer to be called Cat. I have been happily married for 13 years and have two children, Phoebe and Zander, who attend BISH in the primary school. I enjoy traveling and have been to 35 states in America and most S. E. Asian countries. I enjoy playing the guitar or piano with my husband and creating music with our home recording studio. I love to read and try to find as much time as possible to learn about new authors and books. Another thing that I truly love is trying out new and interesting cooking recipes. My daughter has become a little foodie/food critique and always gives me feedback in my cooking endeavors.
I have been teaching primary music for 15 years and have a Master of Music Education from the University of Georgia. I have become Kodaly as well as Orff trained in teaching music. My primary instrument is voice but can play several different instruments such as the piano, guitar, ukulele, flute, and recorder. I taught music in Thailand for 3 years and enjoy traveling. I wished to come back to America to teach for a few years and have heard wonderful information about Nord Angelia. Once I researched Nord Angelia schools in the U.S., I realized that BISH was the perfect place for me to learn and grow as a professional.
