I graduated from Pfeiffer University in North Carolina, studying Health and Exercise Science whilst on a four year NCAA Division II tennis scholarship. I then returned to Edinburgh, Scotland where I am originally from to undertake my Post Graduate Diploma in Education. After completing my PGDE, I taught in different High Schools in Edinburgh for two years before moving to teach at Prague British International School in 2019 where I taught for two years. I am a fully qualified LTA tennis coach and have coached players ranging from beginner to international standard. I am very excited to be back living in the United States and can't wait to explore Houston and different parts of Texas as well as cheering on the local sports teams - especially the Bulldogs! I am looking forward to getting to know the students at BISH across the whole school whilst utilising the fantastic facilities and technology in providing great learning opportunities for the students.
I really enjoy playing tennis competitively, playing team and other racket sports recreationally, working out and going to watch live sport. I also enjoy listening to music (big fan of country music) and traveling to new places and parts of the world I have not been to. I have visited seventeen different countries in Europe, fifteen States in the U.S. and have also traveled to South America. I love exploring the outdoors and in particular coastal areas. I am always up for a new adventure!
