From the first moment I can remember, I have known I would work in the education field; long gone are the days of lining my dolls up to hold “school” in my bedroom. I began as a teaching assistant at a prestigious private preschool when my own children were small and attended their program. This eventually led me to obtaining my Child Development Associate and Director’s License where I spent 21 years educating and nurturing young children in many different roles; lastly as the Assistant Director of the program. I came to the British International School of Houston because I felt it was a place I could actively continue my journey in the education field and felt BISH offered the educational, enriching environment I hold near to my heart.
I am a wife, mother to two beautiful daughters and a grandma to an energetic little boy! My family is first and foremost in my life and I look forward to spending my off time making lasting memories with them. I enjoy volunteering for various organizations when time allows me. I hope someday to travel the world and visit different countries to enjoy the culture and diversity.
This School is different to all others I have worked at because…
I love the diversity and cultural differences that are embraced by the school and student body. As a person who has never travelled outside of the USA, I enjoy engaging with students and parents learning about their nationalities and cultures. I feel blessed to be part of such a diverse population of families and staff.
