Mr Yang Chong Teng

Swimming Coach

Swimming has been CT's passion from a very young age. He has been coaching since leaving University in 2006 and is a FINA Qualified Level 2 Coach since 2010. His specialty is forming the all 4 competitive strokes in competitive swimming, and devising a successful periodised swimming program. He also coached a Malaysian state waterpolo team and obtained favourable results. CT has worked with the Royal Malaysian Navy and managed to raise the swimming and water polo standards within the Royal Malaysian Armed Forces. He finally found his calling to be working with children and young adults of various ages especially in swimming and water polo, it is a dream come true for him to be offered a position in BSKL to be based solely on aquatic activities. Other than swimming and coaching, photography and miniature painting are some of his favourite past-times.
