Orren Brown

Teacher of Sciences

1:1 BSc (Hons) Microbiology - The University of Nottingham PGCE in Secondary Education - Canterbury Christchurch University.

Orren graduated with a first class degree in Microbiology from The University of Nottingham before enrolling on the Teach First programme and gaining a PGCE in a challenging south-east London secondary school.

Orren took on the role of science teacher and KS3 coordinator in his previous school, promoting a deep understanding and appreciation for science, in addition to enriching the educational experience of KS3 students through: driving aspirational targets, organising achievement celebrations, and developing a successful mid-year peer mentoring scheme.

Outside of the classroom, Orren enjoys sports, trialling exciting cuisine, travelling the globe, and is a keen musician that has recently given himself the challenge of learning the violin.
