Art and craft activities and poem recitation during Mandarin lessons

We celebrated the Mid Autumn Festival from the 12th-16th September at DCIS. It was wonderful to see our students being engaged with various hands-on activities related to this celebration. The legend of Chang-E and the significance of eating Mooncakes on this occasion were also presented. Our students enjoyed lantern making, paper folding, paper cutting, designing a mooncake as well as the recitation of a famous Moon poem.

Saanvi, a Y6 student said:
"I enjoyed making a lantern and listening to the Moon Festival story."
