‘The Lion King’ musical

08 April 2016

In the final week of Term 2, the Milepost 3 children performed ‘The Lion King’ musical.

This ambitious adaptation of the Disney musical tells the story of Simba and his evil uncle Scar. All of the children worked extremely hard and put on a memorable performance for those lucky enough to be in the audience. The enthusiasm and creativity of the MP3 teachers and teaching assistants, led by Ms Kirstine, inspired the children to bring the various characters to life in a wonderful show. Our very own ‘Elton’, Mr Jon, ensured that the music and singing was of the very highest quality. Ms Duyen, Ms Hong Anh and Ms Phuong, assisted by Mr Rob, created a wonderful set which was brought to life by the magic of Ms Jess on the lighting decks! Thanks to Ms Jules and Ms Vy, the children all looked magnificent in some of the most amazing and ambitious costumes produced for a primary production! The final performance was a great way to end the term, and the teachers are all very proud of the children’s efforts.
