Last Friday all three gyms and the football field were put to good use as students from Lynx, Bear, Bison and Wolf battled for supremacy. Penalty shootouts, basketball free-throws, tug of war and football, volleyball and basketball matches took place with lots of house points to be won.
There was even an impromptu planking competition, won by Oscar in Year 8 for Bison who managed an incredible four and a half minutes! It was a great way to start the day and promote the newly revamped house system.
Students can also earn House Points for their Houses by working hard in class, producing really good quality work, being polite and courteous, helping each other and by setting a good example. Watch this space for more exciting house activities that are on their way!
