Our teachers really care about the wellbeing of our youngest learners and having access to our school’s dedicated counsellor and education psychologist helps us support children and parents in the best way possible. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What qualifications do your teachers have?
    We only hire experienced teachers with a degree in teaching or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the UK, or the equivalent from their home country. Most of our teachers are native English speakers.
  • My child doesn't speak much English. Will they be OK?
    Yes! Our English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme is designed to support newcomers with little or no English. At TBS Warsaw, children learn English very quickly thanks to our immersive English-speaking environment.
  • How is Polish integrated into the curriculum?

    At TBS Warsaw, in the Early Years programme, we use English to teach our classes. Such an approach prepares children for the National Curriculum for England & IPC, following IGCSE and IB. At each subsequent stage of education, we issue certificates of completion and graduation.

    Our students are divided into two groups: Polish native speakers and non-native speakers.

    At our international Early Years program, we use English in everyday communication, but we introduce elements of Polish in a natural, light way, connected to everyday situations. We want children to become familiar with Polish without the pressure of formal learning— for example, through phrases like "Good morning." We also often use the scaffolding method, which involves saying a sentence in English and adding a keyword in Polish. Another important element of the program is exposure to Polish culture: celebrating traditional Polish holidays, learning about local traditions, sampling Polish dishes, creating Polish-inspired artwork, and attending theatre performances.

  • What other foreign languages do you teach?
    At TBS Warsaw, we believe that learning foreign languages is an essential part of an international education. In addition to the daily use of English, we offer a Spanish Club, which children in Reception and Year 1 can join as part of our after-school club program. The club takes place once a week. Our Upper and Middle School students can choose between French, German and Spanish.
  • What afterschool activities do you offer?
    Through our Learning Enrichment Activity Programme (LEAP), we offer a variety of extracurricular activities every day of the week, including sports, music and creative workshops.
  • Do students wear uniforms?
    Yes, our students wear a smart and comfortable uniform. We believe that wearing a uniform instils a sense of belonging and respect. Uniforms also help students to save time getting dressed, making it easier to focus on their studies. Second-hand uniforms are available for purchase on our main campus.
  • How much are tuition fees?
    As a premium international primary school, our tuition fees reflect the outstanding quality of education that your child will receive. For the upcoming 2026/27 academic year, fees for Pre-Nursery - Year 3 are projected to range from 52020 PLN do 114580 PLN.
  • Do you offer discounts for siblings?
    We offer a 5% reduction on tuition fees for your third and subsequent children.
  • When do you accept applications?
    Admissions are open throughout the year, and new students may join at any time during the school year.
