The IB and Pre IB Students Wear Odd Socks for Anti Bullying

Last Friday the IB and Pre IB students all came to school in odd socks in order to raise awareness against anti bullying

  • Be a buddy not a bully

This is part of a national campaign in the UK to raise awareness of bullying techniques and try to empower students to “step up” and support those who are being bullied.

The IB Student Leadership team supported this movement by using the assembly period to raise awareness of this important topic. They spoke about why people bully and gave some realistic advice as to what students can do to support their peers.

Most importantly, they raised awareness that this is a very hurtful way to behave and we shouldn’t endorse this behaviour to begin with.
