Year 2 participate in the Nord Anglia Global Campus Comic Writing Competition

Students from Year 2 have been working hard on their writing skills this month to participate in the Global Campus Comic Writing Competition.

  • Steve Collyer Year 2 1
  • Yer 2 Marigolds
  • Year 2 Marigolds 3
  • Year 2 Marigolds 4
  • Year 2 Marigolds 5
  • Year 2

In order to understand some of the themes behind the UNICEF Global Goals, and become active participants of change for a better world, they have been writing about Superheroes that will save the planet!

Mr Collyer’s Year 2 class have chosen the issue of whaling as they have encountered it during their previous English lessons where they studied a non-fiction book about Whaling.

As a special surprise from Nord Anglia, Billy Tan will be the guest judge for the competition! Billy Tan has been drawing comics for over 20 years, has worked on several Marvel comics, has his very own design studio (Tan Comics Co, Ltd) and will be this year's NAE-Global Campus Comic Book Competition guest judge! Billy will also be illustrating the winning 3 students' comic superheroes!

Keep your eyes peeled, super-writers are about!
