Mums and Dads Coming to School with their children in Reception

All three Dinosaur Classes - Reception T-Rex, Stegosaurus and Diplodocus - invited their mummies and daddies into school this past Tuesday to celebrate with them what they have learned in the last half term!

Mums and Dads arrived with their children (or some of them drove while the children rode on the school bus as usual) early in the morning and got to experience first-hand the activities on offer in class. Various resources were set out in each classroom so that the children could "get busy" immediately as they do each and every morning in what we call "continuous provision".

Once everyone had gathered together by 9am, the children got to show off their learning by displaying stories they have made up or facts they have learned as well as new skills gained since Christmas.

Thanks to everyone who supported this event as usual - it was such a treat for the Reception dinosaurs to have mum or dad, or in some cases both parents, in school for the morning!
