Message from Head of Secondary

As the examination season continues I am pleased to report that many students seem somewhat relieved that the internal assessments are not as tricky as perhaps they expected.

Exam

It is important to remember that for us as educators, an examination is not all about the final grade but very much to do with teaching the process and procedure and getting students used to working under timed conditions.

At this point in the year we have a very clear idea of where students are with their learning and a significant amount of evidence to judge this by.
As we enter the last month of the academic year, we are busy planning for the next.

It is exciting that we already have lots of events and initiatives planned and are looking forward to a year packed with learning, trips, challenges and adventures.

Wishing you a relaxing weekend, and don’t forget as the weather is warming up, that there is a summer uniform option on the school uniform website!
