Message from Our Head of Primary

As we approach the festive period which usually brings communities together for celebrations, we can reflect on a busy term in school and many successes for our students.

Students lining up

The whole school community has shown adaptability and resilience when moving between in school learning and our virtual school.  The collaboration and support between the teacher, parents and students over the past few weeks has been wonderful and has shown how a community can work together during challenging times.   It has been wonderful sending the success cards to the students and seeing some excellent examples of creativity and positive attitudes from our students.

Our PTA Giving Tree has been a wonderful community activity which has shown how we can support others and have a positive impact on the wider community.  The students have really enjoyed delivering the present in the past and always remember the experience and the smiles on the faces of the other children.

There are some lovely school activities taking place at the moment with our Pantomime for the students to watch, our virtual Christmas Fair with some lovely activities on Tuesday and I know teachers are busy preparing their virtual Christmas performances to send out to parents.  We know that there is nothing better than bringing the community together for these special occasions such as our Christmas Fair and performances but we hope you will enjoy our virtual options to celebrate the festive season.

I hope that you all have a lovely festive holiday and wish you a happy new year.
