They have shown how adaptable and resilient they are. It has been fantastic to see the children learning at home. The children’s imagination and creativity continue to flourish across the school. We have been lucky to have such lovely weather this week. The children in Pre-Nursery and Nursery enjoyed getting outside and looking for signs of Spring.
Children in Reception have been role playing being at the airport and getting on a plane, they thoroughly enjoyed following instructions and making their own paper aeroplane. In Year 1, the children have been hunting for shapes at home, creating planets for Beegu and making predictions about the story.
The morning starters have been popular and caused a great deal of discussion. It has also been great to see the children cooking and making their own breakfast. Making French Toast and porridge has been very popular this week.
I want to thank the parents for all their support with engaging with their children and their learning and posting their responses on Tapestry and Seesaw. The teachers will continue to work hard ensuring that the children have enjoyable and engaging learning. If you have any questions do not hesitate to get in touch.
I hope you have an enjoyable weekend and I look forward to seeing more of the children’s learning on Tapestry and Seesaw next week.
