Beating Boredom - Year 7 - Sam’s Marvelous Marble Run

We are all spending an increased amount of time in front of the computer screen

  • Z

...during this period of virtual school experience and we have been encouraging our youngsters to get involved in some activities that give them a break from their devices.

Sam, one of our Year 7’s, has done just that! He created a marble run using just a few simple materials he found around the house and after a few hours of trialing and testing, he succeeded in getting the marble across the room to knock down the lined up dominoes and get the marble home.

Maybe you could try your own marble run at home? Sam said he really enjoyed doing the activity and he would certainly recommend that you take up the challenge and while away a few hours doing something creative.

As always, do please send in photos of any of the exciting projects you are doing to keep yourself and your families entertained during this period.
