Sport relief Week Monday 9th-Friday 13th March

All money raised will go to the Arka Foundation which works with children between the ages of 11- 16.

This is a collaboration that TBS has with Playmaker and the school football coaches.

Aim of project: To develop positive behaviours within disaffected adolescence. This project has had a extremely positive influence on students behaviour on the pitch and within school.  Through our sponsorship of coaching, Arka has been able to apply to the local council to get a grant to continue the coaching and outreach football program.

Here is how we aim to raise money:

  • All KS 3/4 and 5 pupils can wear a red top to celebrate sports relief. Please donate 5ZLT to your form tutor.
  • KS 3 assembly- Pupils will complete the sport relief mile- this is a walk/ run where they will have questions to answer on the way round. Each person round completes 750m- we will calculate how many miles have been walked. There will be donation buckets where pupils can donate any money that families and friends can sponsor them to complete this.
  • Each break and Lunch time we will then have activities running. Please see the schedule below. Each activity will cost 5zlt to enter and there will be prizes for the winner of each activity.
