Year 1 showed their amazing adaptability and enquiry skills to think 'outside of the box' once more.

The children were challenged for an IPC project, to create hats that were the culmination and 'Exit Point' for their IPC  unit 'All dressed up'. As if they had not been challenged enough, they also used this as an opportunity to show off their amazing cross-curricular learning and focused on the 'Virtual School Experience' in particular.

Hats came in a great variety of shapes, sizes and materials, like many of the clothes that they have found out more about in recent weeks. Mathematical parts to the hats included different measurements, multiplication, number bonds and shapes. Experts in English, some children included 'Beegu' as their inspiration and sported spellings and phonics as well as poetry and favourite books.

For extra International IPC links, children included their newly 'adopted' countries as the inspiration.

What an 'Exit Point' and virtual cat walk this was. Here is just a glimpse at these amazing students 'All dressed up'...

WOW! What an achievement and What a term! Congratulations everyone.
