Message from Head of Early Years

What another busy week both in school and in our Virtual School Experience.

Crawlies 2

Thank you to all those who attended Parent Voice this week. Next week Parent Voice will be held in Polish.

It is great to see more happy and enthusiastic children returning to the campus.  In Reception this week, the children explored 3D shapes this week, they enjoyed going on shape hunts and have been exploring how they move. The children have continued to learn about minibeasts, making minibeast snacks, performing poems and creating stories. The children in Year 1 have been making their own comics and they have created their own villains and superheroes to star in them. In Nursery and Pre-Nursery it has been great to see some delicious fruit salads. I hope the children enjoyed eating them as much as they seemed to making them. On Zoom, the teachers have enjoyed seeing what the children have been growing.

This week we introduced 1:1 Zoom session between the child and the teacher for the children continuing with Virtual school. We hope that you have found them beneficial and that the children enjoyed getting feedback from their teacher.

I hope you have a restful weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Monday.
