Message from our Head of Primary

We have had a week full of learning about our IPC unit 'Brainwaves'.

The children have been finding out about how they learn best and how their brain works.  There have been some excellent explanations by the children and a range of examples to record their learning.  Year 2 produced some wonderful art work which they could explain in detail.  Year 4 had their Exit Point today, where they demonstrated their learning to the other children and shared ideas on how they could create a positive mindset.  Year 6 had a very interesting zoom call with Jason Rheinberg from the British Embassy to learn about creating international links and how countries work together.  The Year 6 students asked some excellent questions and found out that using our Personal Learning Goals by being curious, empathetic and a good collaborator would really support them in creating links with others and working together.

Mr Holmes has collected the entries for our Superhero competition where we are finding superheroes to represent each learning goal.  We will be selecting the winners shortly and look forward to sharing our Personal Learning Goal superheroes with you soon.

Wishing you a lovely weekend,

Joanne Prabhu
