The Sharks, Dolphins and Whales have wasted no time in getting started and have enjoyed recapping on their knowledge of Maths and number, mapped and retold the amazing story of 'The tiger who came to tea' and taken risks by using new language. In IPC we have used the names of the new Personal Learning Goals and extended our vocabulary to describe how our brains work.

As part of our 'Brainwaves' IPC unit we have looked at how the different subjects fit together like pieces of a jigsaw, just like we all fit together as part of our Year 1 jigsaw.

We have quickly got used to our new routines, looked at making the right choices and reflecting on our learning. We also understand that healthy life choices make our brains think more clearly.

We are all so glad to be back and cannot wait to see what next week will bring.
