Message from our Head of Early Years

What a great first week back the children have had.

The children have adapted to new routines with enthusiasm and our new pupils are getting used to a new environment and are making new friends quickly. Thank you for all your support this week.

Our youngest members of the school, in Pre-Nursery, have been settling in well to the school life. They have enjoyed playing in the outside area, drawing and singing songs together. In Nursery and Reception, the children have already developed their independence and co-operation skills. It is great to see them so engaged during their play. In Year 1, the children have been reading the story ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ and have been learning to retell the story using pictures and actions.

Thank you for joining us on Wednesday evening to meet your child’s new class teacher, we look forward to holding many more virtual events.

Kind regards,

Kay Parker-McMahon
