The British School Warsaw’s students have once again achieved far above world average results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The British School Warsaw’s average score is over 3 points higher than the IB global average demonstrating an excellent performance by our students.
- Our students' average score in the IB Diploma was almost 33.5, much ahead of the 2017 global average of 30 points.
- One out of every five of our students achieved 40 or more points. This is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world's elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford. Only one out of fourteen IB students achieves 40 or more points annually.
- We are delighted to announce that Viola F from our school received full marks - the maximum score of 45 points. This is an incredible achievement given that only 218 students worldwide (0.1% of the 160 000 IB pupils) received full marks this year in the IBDP. Viola will be pursuing Philosophy, Politics and Economics studies at University of Oxford.
- 43 students took the IB Diploma this year (an increase of over 30% versus our 2016 number)
