Learning Assistant

Mrs Catterall is a Learning Assistant in Pre-Nursery. She supports both the teachers and students through the Early Years curriculum.

I wanted to work with children from the time I was young, and I knew how much of a privilege it would be to encourage youth people to become the best they can be. So, I focused my career on Early Years education and worked within the UK nursery system. After several years, my family and I had the opportunity to move overseas and experience different countries. I was fortunate to live in Istanbul, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and now Washington, DC. Thanks to my travels, I have learned about and appreciated different cultures and beliefs, which has helped inform my teaching style and shape it for an international audience.
